Information we collect
We collect the account, profile, lesson, communication and transaction information needed to operate the teacher marketplace. Teacher applicants may also provide qualification and identity-review documents. Payment card or bank credentials are entered directly into Razorpay and are not stored by Prakash Learning.
How information is used
- To register students and teachers, verify teachers and provide protected account access.
- To match users, schedule lessons, operate classrooms and maintain payment and earnings records.
- To moderate communications, investigate complaints, prevent misuse and provide support.
- To comply with applicable legal, tax, accounting and payment requirements.
Sharing
Information is shared only as needed with the student or teacher involved in a lesson, hosting and database providers, Razorpay, support providers, and authorities when legally required. We do not sell personal information.
Retention and security
We retain records for as long as needed for marketplace operations, dispute handling, accounting and legal obligations. We use restricted administrator access, password hashing, secure session cookies and server-side payment verification. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
You may ask to review, correct or delete eligible personal information by contacting support. Some transaction or dispute records may need to be retained where required by law or legitimate business needs.
